Cokenach 50/50 Cricket Development Club
We have come to the end of the first period of the 50/50 Club and I am very pleased to report that we have contributed £1,200 towards the club funds. To put matters in perspective, this would pay the ground rent on the new ground so is a very valuable contributor. Just over half of club members have had a win which in all cases has at least repaid their subscription. For all of these reasons thank you very much to each of you for joining and helping the club.
Although there are a number of initiatives being put forward in order to allow the club to develop the new ground, we would like to continue with the 50/50 Club and I hope that you will feel able to sign up for another year. I am always keen to obtain new recruits as well as we ran with only 51 members last year and if we get more members the prizes can be larger. Therefore please encourage any friends that you have to join up and just give them a copy of the application form to send to me. Prizes are currently £110 for first prize each month and £65 for second prize.
