- respect officials, coaches, managers and their decisions and not show dissent

- respect opponents and other members of your squad and treat all players as you would like to be treated
|
- not carry out verbal or physical abuse and to use correct and proper language at all times
|
- keep to agreed timings for training and matches and inform your coach or manager if you are going to be late or need to leave early.
|
- show commitment at all times in both training & match situations
|
- wear suitable kit for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team manager
|
- make sure you have the correct kit/equipment, sun protection and liquids with you at training and matches
|
- inform your coach/team manager if you are unwell, injured or taking medication
|
- not possess or consume alcohol or take prohibited substances whilst representing CCC
|
- respect other persons and not take or damage other people’s property whilst representing the CCC
|
- stay with your team members on match days and not to leave the ground without permission from your coach or team manager
|
- remember that at all times you are representing the Club image, whether at club, school work, or other level, and act accordingly
|
- wear a helmet at all times when batting and when standing up to the stumps as a wicket keeper[ under 18’s]. Parental letters consenting to the player not to wear a helmet will not be accepted.
|
- talk directly with the coach or team manager regarding any issues or concerns that may arise.
|
Remember, playing cricket should be FUN. You shouldn’t take part just to please parents and coaches. |
Parents/Guardians Agree to… |
- pay any fees for training or matches promptly
|
- ensure the player arrives punctually for training and matches or inform their coach or manager if they are going to be late. Collect the player promptly when the match or training session has finished
|
- encourage and help the player meet targets, including abiding by this Code of Conduct
|
- encourage the player to talk directly with the coach or team manager
|
- support the player without pressure, praise good work and refrain from criticising lapses
|
- set a good example to the player
|
- respect the opportunity given to the player and accept selection and coaches’ decisions, and the decisions of other match officials
|
- encourage and support the player and the team, in a calm and controlled manner
|
- keep the coach or team manager informed about matters affecting the player
|
If you have any concerns, you are entitled to approach the team manager or coach, at an appropriate time, to discuss any issues with him/her. If this does not bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion,
